The Nightwatchers, winged other-worldly beings, sci-fi angels with the body of an infant and a head as camera lens, are seen here as witness to our history. But are they silent, passive observers, benevelont recorders of time, or malevolent controlling agents? These works form part of the The Mass Observation Project examining and reflecting on our complex relationship with the deep surveillance culture we have little choice but to accept and manage.
